BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

In our specialised cyber security and digital forensic labs, you'll be using the latest applications and tools used for IT security and digital forensics in the industry.

You’ll learn to identify breaches, vulnerabilities and threats and develop skills to mitigate these. In addition, you will develop skills to seize, analyse and present for a digital investigation.You can develop your professional skills with a year-long, paid work experience placement as part of a four-year study option.

    For UK students: -

    We accept students with a wide range of qualifications, including combinations of qualifications. Our most common entry qualifications can be found below:

  • 112-128 UCAS points including GCSE: Grade 4/C in English and Mathematics
  • A Levels: - BBC-BBB.
  • BTEC: - DMM-DDM.
  • Access requirements: - Overall pass: must include 45 credits at level 3, of which all 45 must be at Merit or higher.
  • Combinations: - A combination of A-Level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 112 - 128 UCAS Tariff points.

    For international students: -

  • IELTS score 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in all sections.
  • We also accept: - PTE / ESOL / Duolingo / TOEFL / Trinity ISE II or III / MOI
  • If you don't have the qualifications described above then you can sit for a university’s “Internal English language test”.
